Overview

A clear, in-depth picture of your health

A comprehensive health check gives you a clear, in-depth picture of your current health, identifying risks before symptoms develop and providing the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your wellbeing.

At Radiant Health Clinic, health checks are carried out by Advanced Nurse Practitioners with extensive NHS clinical experience. Each check is tailored to your age, sex, lifestyle, and health concerns, and includes a range of blood tests, measurements, and clinical assessments interpreted in the context of your personal health history.

Unlike GP appointments limited by time constraints, our health checks allow for a thorough, unhurried consultation with time to discuss your results, ask questions, and receive clear, practical advice on next steps.

  • Early identification of health risks before symptoms develop
  • Comprehensive blood testing covering key health markers
  • Cardiovascular risk assessment
  • Personalised health advice and lifestyle recommendations
  • Results explained clearly with time to ask questions
  • Conducted by NHS-trained Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Common questions

Common questions

Do I need to fast before my health check?

Some blood tests, including cholesterol and blood glucose, require fasting for 8–12 hours beforehand. You will receive clear instructions at the time of booking.

How long will it take to get my results?

Some results can be reviewed on the day. Laboratory blood test results are typically available within a few days and will be discussed with you at a follow-up.

Is this the same as an NHS health check?

Our health checks go beyond what is typically offered within NHS time constraints. We offer a more in-depth, unhurried assessment with broader blood test panels and more time for discussion and advice.

Will my GP be informed?

With your consent, we can share a summary of your results with your GP. This is entirely optional.

How often should I have a health check?

Annual health checks are recommended for most adults. Your practitioner will advise on the appropriate frequency based on your results and risk profile.
